This cookie policy explains which cookies and comparable technologies are used on https://rechenhof.at.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Websites can also place data in your browser's session storage or local storage. We refer to all of these as "cookies" here.

2. Do we use tracking or advertising cookies?

Not on our own initiative. This website sets no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies of its own. Services such as Google Analytics, Google Fonts, Meta/Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo, Klarna or PayPal are not embedded. Fonts and icons are served from our own server and are not fetched from external providers.

The one exception is the Google Maps map on the contact page. It is only loaded if you explicitly consent there. Only then can Google store cookies on your device and read Google cookies that are already present — including ones Google uses for advertising purposes. See section 5 for details.

3. When do we ask for your consent?

Cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the website and to process your booking do not require consent under section 165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021. The only thing that does require consent here is the Google Maps map on the contact page. Instead of a site-wide banner we ask exactly where it matters: in the map placeholder itself. Until you consent there, nothing is sent to Google.

We only remember your decision in your browser's local storage if you explicitly choose that (entry mapConsent, see the table under "Other browser storage"). You can withdraw at any time using the "Withdraw consent" link below the map.

4. Stripe cookies

We load Stripe.js on the payment page to process card payments. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud detection. These cookies are only set once you open the payment page. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

5. Deleting or blocking cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please note that signing in to the administration area and the payment process will not work without these cookies.

These cookies are required to operate the website and the booking form and cannot be switched off.

JSESSIONID Session (deleted when you close your browser) Associates your requests with a server-side session and keeps signed-in users logged in.
XSRF-TOKEN Session Protects forms against cross-site request forgery attacks.
remember-me 31 days Only set when an administrator chooses "Remember me" when signing in. For this purpose the IP address and browser identifier are also stored on the server.

Stripe (payment processing)

Category: Strictly necessary

Stripe.js is loaded when you open the payment page. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud detection. Payment is not possible without them.

Google Maps (map on the contact page)

Category: Requires consent

The map is only loaded if you click "Load map" on the contact page. Nothing is sent to Google before that. Afterwards Google may store cookies on your device and read Google cookies that are already there; exactly which ones depends on your browser and on whether you are signed in to Google.

In addition to cookies we use session storage and local storage. These entries are not transmitted to the server and exist purely to make the site usable.
